THANK YOU!
We hope you enjoy this new video we made just for you, our supporters.
YOU are the NEMRF.
Dear Friends,
Thanks to the support of music lovers like you, the New England Musicians Relief Fund has raised over $300,000 so far to help musicians survive the COVID pandemic shutdown. Your support of NEMRF has helped performers pay their rents or mortgages, heat their homes, and buy groceries, medications, diapers, and even a few holiday presents for their kids.
Our heart breaks with every application we open, but thanks to your support, we have been able to send out $1000 checks to nearly 250 musicians, and that number grows every day.
You, our supporters, have helped lay the groundwork for the future of live music. We don’t know how long it will be before we can get back into the concert halls, clubs, and theaters, but we at NEMRF are committed to working tirelessly to help musicians make it there. As one grantee said, “You have given me a ‘bridge’ to hang onto in these very unstable times. I appreciate it more than you could know.”
Your generosity has shown that music lovers care deeply about the people who make the music. With your support, NEMRF is building an organization for the long term to help musicians through this and future crises, be they societal or personal. Thank you for your continued support.
Even though we can’t gather to share music together, as we all love to do, we hope you will enjoy the offerings collected in our Silent Night Project: https://www.nemrf.org/silent-nights
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel free to share them with us at relief@nemrf.org or https://www.nemrf.org/chat-with-us.
